As a resident, you have the ability to request your own entries that will be directed right to your Law Enforcement Agency. Simply choose the selection below and fill out a form for your request.

Over Night Parking

Provide us the details of your vehicle and the location it will be parked over night. We will add your request to our database to ensure a ticket is not given.

Provide us the details of your property and the date ranges you will be gone. Once added to our database, your property will be added to our list of vacation watches for officers to check on (time-permitting).

THE DATES OF PARKING PERMISSION REQUESTS MUST END ON THE LAST DAY OF PERMISSION REQUESTED (i.e. date at 2 A.M). Citations issued between 2 A.M. and 6 A.M. will not be voided if the citation is issued prior to the time parking permission is requested. All vehicles receiving overnight parking permission MUST otherwise be parked legally. (i.e. not in violation of posted signs, fire hydrants, etc.) Any questions about overnight parking please email PDTraffic@vbg.org. For all other restrictions see municipal code 17.36.030 and BG-11-1308.

VACATION WATCHES are notifications to the police department your home will be unoccupied. Periodic checks on your home will be completed as time and call volumes allow. No watches beyond 30 days will be approved.
