Please understand that professional standards investigations are often detailed and involve multiple investigatory steps. These steps can be time-consuming, and for that reason the standard deadline for professional standards investigations is 90 days.
You can expect further correspondence from our agency regarding your complaint within that timeframe.
In some cases, this deadline may be extended due to circumstances outside of our agency’s control, such as reliance on outside resources.
If a deadline extension becomes necessary, you will be notified accordingly.
?? Legal Notice on False Statements:
A person is guilty of making a false written statement when the person makes a false statement which the person knows to be false or does not believe to be true in a written instrument bearing a notice, authorized by law, to the effect that false statements therein are punishable.
Making a false statement is a Class A misdemeanor under Delaware law and may result in criminal prosecution.
